Coming Soon: Field Work
Farming is under the microscope these days. Consumers are increasingly picky about their food and want it to be grown in environmentally friendly ways. But farmers don’t just press a button and change up their operations. Adopting “sustainable” practices like cover crops or conservation tillage costs time and money. And sometimes it can be hard to quantify the benefits. Our new podcast Field Work will take a close look at what it takes to make changes. It’s hosted by two commercial row crop farmers, Zach Johnson and Mitchell Hora. They’re two guys who believe farming needs to become more sustainable but know firsthand what kinds of trade-offs might be necessary. Join them for a great season of conversations starting Wednesday, May 1.
